Q:I do portraits, will I learn how to adjust face tones?
A: Yes, I'll help you learn how to access facial tones, highlights, and shadows for accurate paintings and photographs for your portraits.

My years as a studio photographer and re-toucher helped me learn about skin-tones.  I'll gladly share my experiences.


Q: I've heard that red rock landscapes are difficult to adjust. Will you go over that?
A: Yes, in my class on lab color we will learn how to adjust using digital darkroom techniques and teach you how to improve these subtle toned pictures.


Q: How do I get to Escalante?
A: By car, we're 5 1/2 hours from Las Vegas Airport and we're 5 hours from Salt Lake City Airport.  We'll gladly send you a map with your reservation packet.

By private plane, you can Fly-In to Escalante Airport.  We'll pick you up.  If you plan to stay several days there's shuttle service companies available.


Q: What's the lodging like in Escalante?
A: Executive retreats, 3* Bed and Breakfast, Vacation Homes, Motels, Cabins, Campgrounds - you name your price range and you'll find accommodations here.

Q:What's your classroom like?

A: Visit our digital studio page and see for yourself.  You reserve your station as well as your weekend when you reserve on-line. 

Each station is equipped with custom built computers designed for photo work; wide screen monitors with color correction; 6 x 8 Wacom tables; and a wide format printer is available for prints (if you choose)


Q:I'm in a wheel chair, is your classroom barrier free?

A: Absolutely.  There's plenty of room at station 3 for your chair.  Book Station 3 for any of our classes with confidence. Our classroom restroom and gallery is barrier free also.
